Speel Kampioen VOF attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and therefore handle your personal data with care. What personal data can we request from you?

We cannot be of service to you without your data. For the purposes described below, Speel Kampioen VOF may request the following personal data from you, if applicable:

For what purposes do we process personal data?

Order and Delivery

We mainly use personal data for the ordering process. In order to process, deliver, and keep you informed about your order, we need your name, email address, address(es), payment details and your telephone number. We only pass on data to others if necessary, for example to our distribution center and to delivery services. We then only give them the information they need to be able to carry out the delivery properly.


Your account on Brickkampioen

You can find all your data in a clear overview in your account on Brick Kampioen. We store the following information here: your name, address(es), telephone number, e-mail address, delivery and payment method. This has advantages in particular if you place orders with us more often. You do not have to enter this data again and again. We also store information about previous orders in your account. When you cancel your account, this data will be deleted.


Customer Service

Do you have a question? Then you can call or email us. In order to be able to help you quickly, we use your data. This way we can find your order or previously asked question more quickly in our administration or mailbox. We often ask on the phone to email us. We do this so that the question can be easily and carefully shared among our colleagues. We never publish customer questions without your prior consent, unless you have approached us publicly through social media or our review system. E-mails are kept for five years in connection with after-sales and/or handling complaints about the products and/or services. After five years, customer inquiries are either destroyed or completely anonymized for evaluation purposes.

Newsletters

Thanks to our newsletters you are always quickly informed of offers, promotions and other news. Only your name, address and e-mail address are required for the newsletter. E-mail newsletters are sent through the service provider The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp , 512 Means St., Suite 404 Atlanta, Georgia-30318, USA. They only receive this data for creating and sending the newsletter. The Rocket Science Group has adopted the Safe Harbor Agreement, which aims to provide a level of data protection that meets European standards. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can easily unsubscribe here. When you unsubscribe, this data will be deleted.

Reviews

Reviews are useful not only for us, but also for other customers. If you want to write a review, click here. The reviews are collected by the independent customer reviewer Webwinkelkeur. We can manage the reviews. Your e-mail address is therefore only visible to us and not to others. Webwinkelkeur is also obliged per contract to adhere to our privacy conditions. We can contact you to learn about improvements or tips. If you have a complaint about an order, we ask that you contact us first so that we can resolve the issues. Normally you will receive a request for review two days after placing the order or collection time.

Promotions and contests

To participate in a contest it is necessary that we have your name, address and e-mail address. This way we can carry out the promotion and announce the prize winner(s). We also use the data to measure the response to our advertising campaigns. After the end of actions, the personal data will be deleted again.

 

Payment

Mollie

We use the Mollie platform to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than permitted by law.

PayPal

We use the PayPal platform to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. PayPal processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. In the event of a deferred payment request (credit facility), PayPal shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of PayPal's services for which they engage third parties. PayPal does not store your data for longer than permitted by law.

 

Maintenance of the functioning of the website

Fraud prevention

Of course we do everything we can to prevent fraud. If necessary, we may use customer data to investigate, prevent and combat fraud. This also means that we provide customer data to the government in the context of fraud investigations if we are obliged to do so.

Cookies are placed via our website from the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to keep track of and to get reports on how visitors use the website. Provision to third parties

We do not provide your personal data and the data linked to your username to third parties, unless this is necessary for the processing of your order. For example, we pass on your name and address details to our carriers, such as PostNL, to ensure that they can deliver the package to you. If we suspect fraud or abuse of our web shop, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities. In addition, social media buttons are included in our web store. How long is your data stored?

The personal data described above will be kept for as long as necessary to process your orders, including the warranty period. We then store data for a maximum of one year for the statistical purposes described, such as Google Analytics. The data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for payment data).

This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties that are connected to our web store by means of links.
